Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Audrey Buschjost and Kendall Wood Lead Blair Oaks to Victory + How To Watch

If Owensville wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Blair Oaks, they should've done a better job of containing Laney Toebben. The Falcons walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Dutchmen on Monday for which the team can thank Toebben, who had four digs and three aces. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last three times she's played.

Blair Oaks walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). The final score came out to 25-22, 23-25, 25-15, 25-22.

Leading Blair Oaks to victory were Kendall Wood and Audrey Buschjost. Wood had 18 digs, while Buschjost had six blocks and four aces. Those six blocks gave Buschjost a new career-high. Ainlsey Stegeman also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Blair Oaks was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Despite the loss, Owensville still got an impressive performance from Clara Julius, who had 14 digs and two assists.

The victory made it two in a row for Blair Oaks and bumps their season record up to 14-18. As for Owensville, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-16-2.

Blair Oaks wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Capital City on the 14th. As for Owensville, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Sullivan on the 14th.
