Keys Gate is headed into their home opener looking to turn things around after starting their season on the road. They took a blow against Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) on Monday, falling 72-42. The defeat continues a trend for the Knights in their meetings with the Stallions: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, Everglades City unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. The game between the Gators and Barron Collier didn't end well, with the Gators falling 65-50.
