Basketball Game Preview: Terry Bulldogs vs. Forest Hill Patriots

The Terry Bulldogs will challenge the Forest Hill Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Terry will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

On Tuesday, Terry needed a bit of extra time to put away Pearl River Central. They blew past the Blue Devils, posting a 54-27 win. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 23 points or more this season.

Terry's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Madison Jones, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 11 boards. Jones is also crushing it when it comes to blocks: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Maleah Young, who posted ten points and six steals.

Terry smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in five consecutive matchups.

Meanwhile, Forest Hill came up short against Hattiesburg on Tuesday and fell 49-41. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Terry's victory was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-5. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.2 points per game. As for Forest Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 5-14.

Terry took their win against Forest Hill in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 50-27. Will Terry repeat their success, or does Forest Hill have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
