Even though the St. Mary's Gaels scored an imposing 73 points on Sunday, the Bowne Wildcats still came out on top. Bowne took their match against St. Mary's 84-73. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Bowne.
Khaleel Williams-Mitchell had a dynamite game for Bowne, scoring 25 points along with 6 assists and 5 steals. Darrel Taylor was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 steals.
Bowne's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for St. Mary's, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
