Basketball Recap: Round Rock Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Round Rock Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 71-61 to the Providence Prep Rams.

When it comes to explaining why Round Rock Christian Academy lost, don't look at Ryan Lieder. Despite the final result, he almost dropped a double-double with 12 points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jayden Amuta, who posted eight points and eight boards.

Round Rock Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Providence Prep, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Round Rock Christian Academy has already played their next game, a 62-46 defeat against Austin Waldorf on the 15th. As for Providence Prep, after both having extra time off, they and Founders Classical Academy will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on December 2.
