New Bern extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from AJ Scott. The Bears put the hurt on the Pamlico County Hurricanes with a sharp 66-40 victory on Tuesday with plenty of help from Scott, who shot 57% from the field en route to 19 points. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 15.5 points per game.

Lucas Long was another key player, putting up five points and three steals. He is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games he's played.

Pamlico County lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Kamden Keyes, who posted four points in addition to five boards and three steals. Another player making a difference was Darien Fisher, who put up seven points.

New Bern's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Pamlico County, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

New Bern wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 72-66 loss against Green Level on the 6th. As for Pamlico County, they have also already played their next matchup, a 74-40 defeat against Ayden - Grifton on the 3rd.
