Soccer Game Preview: South Lenoir vs. Wallace-Rose Hill

The South Lenoir Blue Devils will venture away from home to take on the Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. South Lenoir's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for seven straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Last Wednesday, South Lenoir didn't have quite enough to beat James Kenan and fell 2-1. That's two games in a row now that South Lenoir have lost by just one goal.

Their goal came courtesy of Emily Jones, who's now up to nine this season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Wallace-Rose Hill, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Pender last Thursday. The win continues a trend for Wallace-Rose Hill in their matchups with Pender: they've now won three in a row.

South Lenoir's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Wallace-Rose Hill, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.
