Soccer Recap: Lumberton Takes a Loss

Lumberton was the 1-0 winner over Terry Sanford when they last played one another on October 2nd, but their luck changed this time around. The Pirates fell 3-1 to the Bulldogs on Monday. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Lumberton couldn't quite close it out.

Lumberton is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-9-1. As for Terry Sanford, the victory got them back to even at 7-7-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lumberton will welcome Scotland at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
