Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Northfield couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Pueblo West Cyclones by a score of 16-14 on Friday. The Nighthawks' defeat signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

Several Nighthawks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Cash Lacy, who rushed for 34 yards, and also threw for 82 yards and one TD.
