Almond-Bancroft has won four straight games at home, while Bonduel has won four straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Eagles will host the Bears at 4:30 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Almond-Bancroft 1.8, Bonduel 2.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
On Tuesday, Almond-Bancroft beat Crivitz 4-1.
The team relied heavily on Sophia Chapa, who went 1-for-2 with one home run. That home run was her first of the season.
Almond-Bancroft was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .438. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in five consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Bonduel got the win against Menominee Nation on Thursday by a conclusive 16-1. Considering the Bears have won 13 matchups by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Kallie Wilcox made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). Those eight strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
In other batting news, Bonduel got a massive performance out of Marlie Hartmann, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Gracyn Wudtke, who went 1-for-2 with three runs, one double, and one RBI.

Friday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Almond-Bancroft hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .364. However, it's not like Bonduel struggles in that department as they've averaged .390. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Almond-Bancroft got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in April of 2025 against Bonduel by a conclusive 12-1 score. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Bears have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
