Basketball Game Preview: Chippewa Falls Cardinals vs. Hudson Raiders

Chippewa Falls is 0-10 against Hudson since January of 2020 but things could change on Friday. The two teams will compete for holiday cheer at 7:15 p.m.

Chippewa Falls is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their seventh straight game dating back to last season on Tuesday. They were outmatched by Stevens Point and fell 85-32. While losing is never fun, the Cardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 434th, while the Panthers are ranked 96th).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Hudson, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They slipped by Menomonie 46-45 on Friday.

Chippewa Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Hudson, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Chippewa Falls took a serious blow against Hudson when the teams last played back in January, falling 66-36. Can Chippewa Falls avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
