Basketball Recap: Kenny Matty's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Fletcher over Nease + How To Watch

Fletcher was the 52-51 winner over Nease when they last played one another back in November of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Senators fell 66-56 to the Panthers on Friday. The loss put an end to the Senators' undefeated start to the season.

Fletcher's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kenny Matty, who posted 15 points and five assists. Another player making a difference was AJ O'Britis, who went 5-for-9 en route to 11 points and eight rebounds.

Having lost for the first time this season, Fletcher fell to 2-1. As for Nease, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Fletcher has already played their next contest, a 51-44 victory against South Walton on the 25th. As for Nease, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 81-45 win against Sandalwood on the 25th.
