 Kingston and Monroe-Woodbury are an even 5-5 against one another  since May of 2019, but likely not for long. The Kingston Tigers will be playing at home against the Monroe-Woodbury Crusaders at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday.
 On Tuesday, Kingston didn't have quite enough to beat Newburgh Free Academy and fell  3-1. That's two games in a row now that Kingston has lost by  exactly two  runs.
 Meanwhile, Monroe-Woodbury had to endure  a  four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  6-4  victory over Kingston  on Monday.

 Kingston couldn't quite finish off Monroe-Woodbury when the teams last played  on Monday and fell  6-4. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of  Monroe-Woodbury's  Kyle McDermott, who   didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out eight over six innings pitched.
