Softball Game Preview: Eufaula Tigers vs. Headland Rams + Official Tickets

Eufaula hasn't had much luck against Headland recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Tigers will head out to challenge the Rams at 5:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with five defeats in a row, Eufaula turned things around against Geneva County on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bulldogs, sneaking past 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Tigers have posted since February 23rd.

Zy'Kayla Robinson was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases. Another player making a difference was Aaliyah Brooks, who went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Pike Road typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday Headland proved too difficult a challenge. They blew past the Patriots 9-2. Considering the Rams have won eight games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Eufaula's record now sits at 8-14. As for Headland, their record is now 9-7.

Eufaula might still be hurting after the 10-2 loss they got from Headland in their previous meeting back in March. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
