Basketball Game Preview: North Knox Warriors vs. Jeffersonville Red Devils

Two dominant guards in Brynna Collins and Kelis Dansby are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The North Knox Warriors will head out to challenge the Jeffersonville Red Devils at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Jeffersonville took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on North Knox, who comes in off a win.

On Thursday, North Knox strolled past Wood Memorial with points to spare, taking the game 57-43. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 44th, while the Trojans are ranked 127th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Jeffersonville has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 54-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of Borden on Thursday.

North Knox pushed their record up to 8-2 with the victory, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.1 points per game. As for Jeffersonville, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4.

North Knox didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Jeffersonville in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 48-42 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for North Knox since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
