Football Game Preview: Rushville-Industry Rockets vs. Havana Ducks

Rushville-Industry is a perfect 4-0 against Havana since September of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Rockets will take on the Ducks at 7:00 p.m. Rushville-Industry has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 154 points over their last three matchups.

On Friday, Rushville-Industry humbled Abingdon/Avon with a 46-14 victory. The victory continues a trend for the Rockets in their matchups with the Tornadoes: they've now won four in a row.

It was another big night for Rylan Reimolds, who rushed for 127 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 7.5 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 127 rushing yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Jagger Bartlett, who threw for 76 yards and two touchdowns.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Havana). They strolled past Astoria/VIT with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 69-50.

Rushville-Industry better keep an eye on Cayden Green. He was instrumental in Havana's win, rushing for 286 yards and four scores while picking up 8.7 yards per carry. That's the most rushing touchdowns Green has posted since back in August of 2024. Carter Brooks was in the mix too, providing Havana with three TDs.

Rushville-Industry's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Havana, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Friday's game will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Reimolds and Green. Reimolds just won't slow down this season and has run in 18 touchdowns while averaging 153.1 rushing yards per game. Green has been a dominant force too and has run in 11 touchdowns while averaging 129.9 rushing yards per game.

Rushville-Industry was able to grind out a solid win over Havana when the teams last played back in September of 2024, winning 38-31. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Green, who rushed for 205 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 7.9 yards per carry.
