Football Recap: Gallatin County Comes Up Short

After flying high against Owen County last Friday, Gallatin County came back down to earth. The Wildcats fell just short of the Carroll County Panthers by a score of 21-18 on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 33-20 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Gallatin County's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Carroll County, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Gallatin County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Carroll County, they will challenge Russell at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
