Volleyball Recap: Breckynn Pistulka and Kyrie Matucha Secure Win for Burke

Burke entered their tilt with Faulkton on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Trojans by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cougars also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Leading Burke to victory were Kyrie Matucha and Breckynn Pistulka. Matucha had ten digs and three assists, while Pistulka had seven assists and three digs.

Burke's win bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Faulkton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.

Burke didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Deubrook on the 13th. As for Faulkton, they will take on Leola/Frederick at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
