After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Burney, Chester was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the CORE Butte Lynx by a score of 42-32. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 38-18 back in January.

When it comes to explaining why CORE Butte lost, don't look at Brianna Hayes. Despite the final result, she posted 15 points. Another player making a difference was Lali Gonzalez, who put up nine points.

Chester's victory bumped their record up to 13-7. As for CORE Butte, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-11.

Chester wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 42-35 defeat against Quincy on the 6th. As for CORE Butte, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 56-42 loss against Redding Christian on the 7th.
