Volleyball Recap: Mcdonell Central's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

McDonell Central had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came out on top against the Hayward Hurricanes by a score of 2-0.

McDonell Central easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-18.

Rylie Christianson paced McDonell Central's offense, picking up seven kills. Christianson got some help from Erin Siegenthaler and her 24 assists. Siegenthaler was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

McDonell Central's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Hayward, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.

McDonell Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against St. Croix Central on the 29th. As for Hayward, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against New Auburn on the 30th.
