Football Game Preview: Randolph County Tigers vs. Thorsby Rebels + How To Watch

Maruice Winston continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 165 yards and one touchdown while picking up 7.9 yards per carry. Winston is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 132 every time he's taken the field this season.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Randolph County was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 253 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 172 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Thorsby, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They blew past Comer 55-6 on Thursday. The Rebels might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Those 225 passing yards gave Carroll a new career-high. Lucas Jackson was Carroll's top target, picking up 96 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Randolph County's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Thorsby, their victory bumped their record up to 9-1.

Friday's game might be decided on the ground. Randolph County has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 306.8 rushing yards per game.
