Falkville extended their winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Brodie Bennett. The Blue Devils blew past the Winston County Yellowjackets 42-14 on Thursday for which the team can thank Bennett, who rushed for 103 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only ten carries, and also picked up 50 receiving yards and one TD. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 60 yards.

Falkville didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Esteban Rendon and Jaxon Stringer. Rendon has been hot, having also posted five or more total tackles the last five times he's played.

Falkville's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Winston County, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Falkville will take on Vincent at 7:00 p.m. on the 7th. The Yellow Jackets will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last. As for Winston County, they will face off against Pleasant Valley at 7:00 p.m. on the 7th. The Yellowjackets will need to watch out since the Raiders have now posted at least 31 points in their last six contests.
