Alivia Barrett made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off two hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March. She was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and one double.

In other batting news, Emporia got a massive performance out of Atlyn Heffron, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, four runs, and two stolen bases.
