Basketball Preview: Foothill Cougars vs. Del Oro Golden Eagles
Two dominant guards in Zane Miceli and Brenden Hawkins are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. Having just played yesterday, the Foothill Cougars will jump right back in to play the Del Oro Golden Eagles at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Foothill's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three games.
Foothill is headed into the matchup having just suffered their closest loss since January 9th on Thursday. They fell just short of Nevada Union by a score of 63-60. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Saturday (59), the Cougars still had to take the loss.

Despite the defeat, Foothill got top-tier performance from Miceli, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten boards. Those ten boards gave Miceli a new career-high. Matt Poulsen was another key player, putting up 14 points.
