Volleyball Recap: Morristown Snags Third Win in Last Four Games

Morristown won the last time they faced Tri-Central and things went their way on Saturday too. The Yellow Jackets walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Trojans.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Morristown took both sets by at least 15 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-10.

Brooklyn Carlton paced Morristown's offense, picking up five kills. Carlton got some help from Katie Theobald and her seven assists. Abby Hawk controlled things from the service line, finishing with 12 aces.

Morristown is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-10 record this season. As for Tri-Central, they are on a 15-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-18.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Morristown will welcome South Decatur at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Tri-Central, they will take on Carroll at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
