Central Academy is 1-9 against Parkwood since April of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Central Academy Cougars will head out on the road to take on the Parkwood Wolf Pack at 6:00 p.m. Central Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 7.4 runs per game this season.

The third road match was the charm for Central Academy, as they earned their first road win of the season. They put the hurt on Monroe with a sharp 17-1 win on Thursday. Central Academy might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won four games by ten runs or more this season.

Allison Proffitt was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Proffitt has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive pitching appearances.
