Minneola and Skyline are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2021, but likely not for long. The Wildcats are taking a road trip to face off against the Thunderbirds at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Minneola comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Skyline took on Cimarron on Friday. The Thunderbirds lost 14-4 to the Bluejays. That's two games in a row now that the Thunderbirds have lost by exactly ten runs.

Skyline's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Minneola, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.

Minneola got the 'W' when the teams last played back in April of 2025 against Skyline by a conclusive 11-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
