Softball Recap: Firebaugh Comes Up Short

Looking ahead, Firebaugh will venture away from home to square off against Tranquillity at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 19.83 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Coalinga, they will host Avenal at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Horned Toads' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Buccaneers have averaged an impressive 9 runs per game this season.
