Softball Recap: Grand Ledge Takes a Loss

Grand Ledge lost against Utica Ford back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Comets fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 2-1. The Comets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Grand Ledge's defeat dropped their record down to 23-7. As for Utica Ford, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, Grand Ledge and Utica Ford will both be playing Hudsonville the next time they take the field. The Falcons will head out to face the Eagles at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Comets will play them later in the day, at 12:30 p.m.
