Volleyball Recap: Four Straight Home Wins for Lincoln-Way East

Lincoln-Way East won the last time they faced Plainfield North and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Griffins walked away with a 2-0 win over the Tigers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Griffins.

While Lincoln-Way East won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-18.

Matthew Muehlnickel paced Lincoln-Way East's offense, picking up 12 kills. Muehlnickel were helped by Dylan Nanney and Austin Reutter, who contributed eight assists each. Reutter was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.
