Football Recap: Make It Ten in a Row for Frankenmuth + How To Watch

It's playoff time, and Frankenmuth had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Richmond Blue Devils, posting a 38-6 win. The Eagles' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Special teams was a major factor in the game for Frankenmuth, racking up 14 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Cash Tedford, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

The victory (which was Frankenmuth's tenth in a row) raised their record to 10-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 9.3 points on average over those games. As for Richmond, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-2.

Coming up, Frankenmuth will challenge Notre Dame Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Fighting Irish have now posted at least 31 points in their last three games. Richmond does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
