Volleyball Recap: Bristol Central Victorious

With a playoff win on the line, Bristol Central rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Masuk Panthers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rams.

Their offense was headlined by Emalyn Kirk and Lily Kirk, who picked up 14 kills apiece. They got some help from Gillian Gray and her 39 assists. Emalyn also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Ella Pratt!!, each putting up three.

When it comes to explaining why Masuk lost, don't look at Mary-Kate Boyle. Despite the final result, she had 28 digs and one assist. Boyle has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Bristol Central's win bumped their record up to 19-5. As for Masuk, their defeat dropped their record down to 22-12.

Bristol Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Naugatuck on the 7th. Masuk does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
