Basketball Recap: Eastside Takes a Loss

Eastside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Fairfield Falcons 67-40. While losing is never fun, the Blazers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 433rd, while the Falcons are ranked 216th).

Eastside's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Fairfield, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Fairfield beat Eastside by a score of 67-40 on Saturday.
