Basketball Recap: Immanuel Christian Comes Up Short

Immanuel Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. The game between them and the Trinity at Meadow View Tempest didn't end well, with the Immanuel Christian Warriors falling 63-47. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tempest this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 45-38 back in December of 2024.

Despite the loss, Immanuel Christian still got an impressive performance from Caleb Mornan, who posted 25 points. That was a full 53.2% of Immanuel Christian's points, marking the third time in a row he's scored more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Maden Ponzar, who earned 12 points.

Immanuel Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Trinity at Meadow View, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-8.

Immanuel Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 61-40 defeat against Trinity Christian on the 4th. As for Trinity at Meadow View, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 56-34 loss against Northern Virginia HomeSchool on the 3rd.
