Volleyball Recap: Carolina Forest Comes Up Short

Carolina Forest and Summerville squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Carolina Forest had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Green Wave by a score of 3-2. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Green Wave recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Carolina Forest wouldn't go down easily and took Summerville into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking four-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-18, 18-25, 22-25, 15-11.

Carolina Forest's defeat dropped their record down to 17-11. As for Summerville, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-9.

Carolina Forest does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Summerville, they will square off against Wando at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
