Burton was handed a heart-breaking two-point defeat in their last match, but they sure didn't let that happen against June Jordan School of Equity on Monday. The Burton Pumas were the clear victor by a 59-37 margin over the June Jordan School of Equity Jaguars. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 61-44 back in January.

Several Jaguars players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jacob Fitch, who posted ten points. Another player making a difference was Quintin Sher-Rod, who scored eight points.

Burton is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-16 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.9 points over those games. As for June Jordan School of Equity, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9.
