Issaquah is 9-1 against Redmond since March of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. Issaquah will be playing at home against Redmond at 4:00 p.m. Issaquah's pitching crew has only allowed 2.2 runs per game this season, so Redmond's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Issaquah took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Battle Ground 2-1.

Tanner Scharnhorst looked comfortable as he struck out ten batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Issaquah saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hudson Carvalho, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Carvalho also hit a double, marking his first of the season.
Meanwhile, Redmond got the win against Liberty on Friday by a conclusive 8-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Mustangs have posted against the Patriots since March 31, 2017.
Jay Heath was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-4. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. Leo Ciuca was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
Redmond kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Issaquah pushed their record up to 4-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Redmond, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5.
Issaquah took their win against Redmond in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 8-2. Will Issaquah repeat their success, or does Redmond has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
