Baseball Recap: Laguna Beach's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Laguna Beach put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Calvary Chapel Eagles by a score of 7-3. That's more bragging rights for the Breakers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Laguna Beach got a great performance from Jake Martinez as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Lincoln Adams, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in hits (three). Becker Sybirski was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Laguna Beach kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now hit at least nine hits every time they've taken the field this season.

Laguna Beach's record is now 3-0. As for Calvary Chapel, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
