Fort Collins and Legend squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Fort Collins had to settle for second. They received a blow as they fell 42-28 to the Titans. The Lambkins' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Several Lambkins players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Justin Cranford, who threw for 280 yards and four TDs, and also rushed for 40 yards. Preston Mozer was in the mix as well, providing Fort Collins with two scores.

While Fort Collins came up short, they sure didn't make it easy for Legend: they limited their QB to completion percentage of just 42.4%. The team can thank Donovan Dumas for the heroic effort on defense: he. Fort Collins wasn't nearly as limited: they posted one of 62.8%.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Legend to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ryken Banks, who rushed for 253 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Those 253 rushing yards gave Banks a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Brooks Goossen, who threw for 365 yards and four TDs while picking up 11.1 yards per attempt.

Fort Collins' loss dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Legend, their victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-1.

Fort Collins does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Legend, they will be playing at home against Valor Christian at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Titans will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least 31 points in their last six contests.
