While Oakland's victory against Fremont wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Wildcats sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Tigers on Tuesday. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

The win got Oakland back to even at 3-3. As for Fremont, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Coincidentally, Oakland and Fremont will both be playing Oakland Tech the next time they take the field. The Tigers will head out to face the Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Wildcats will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on the 14th.
