Football Game Preview: Puyallup Vikings vs. Eastlake Wolves

The Puyallup Vikings will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eastlake Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Puyallup will come into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.

Puyallup's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They claimed a resounding 78-0 win over Kamiak. Considering the Vikings have won nine games by more than 28 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Puyallup to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jayden Woodland, who picked up 107 receiving yards and a pair of scores. That's the most receiving yards Woodland has posted since back in October of 2024. J'Isaiah Mitchell did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 70 receiving yards.

Meanwhile, Eastlake earned a 21-14 victory over Mead on Saturday.

The win got Eastlake back to even at 5-5. As for Puyallup, their record now sits at 10-0.

Puyallup beat Eastlake 27-14 in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. Will the Vikings repeat their success, or do the Wolves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
