After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Northwest, Manhattan was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They breezed past the Topeka Trojans to the tune of 50-0. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won four contests by 30 points or more so far this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Manhattan to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kha'Mario Davis, who rushed for 160 yards and three scores on only 15 carries. That's the most rushing touchdowns Davis has posted since back in October of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Finn Watson, who threw for 111 yards and three touchdowns on only ten passes.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Manhattan was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 285 rushing yards. They are a perfect 4-0 when they've run for more than 200 yards.
