Volleyball Recap: Shawano Community Takes a Loss

Shawano Community was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Pulaski Red Raiders. The Hawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Red Raiders apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

While Shawano Community ultimately came up short, they really made Pulaski work, particularly in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 26-24.

Shawano Community's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Pulaski, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Shawano Community has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Xavier on the 16th. As for Pulaski, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Manitowoc Lincoln on the 18th.
