Mira Mesa entered their tilt with Victory Christian Academy on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 67-60 win over the Knights. That's more bragging rights for the Marauders, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Several Knights players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Sammell 'DJ' Humphries, who went 8-for-18 on his way to 17 points and five assists. Humphries is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Owens, who shot 64% from the field en route to 15 points and eight rebounds.

Mira Mesa's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Victory Christian Academy, their record is now 2-2.
