Legacy Christian Academy had already won nine in a row and they went ahead and made it ten on Tuesday. They blew past the Alpaugh Buffalos 3-0. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 2-0 win on October 4th.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-21, 25-14.

Magdalynn Smith paced Legacy Christian Academy's offense, picking up ten kills. Smith got some help from Debra Serano and her 20 assists. Serano was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Despite the defeat, Alpaugh saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Claribel Hernandez had 16 digs and three aces. Hernandez has been hot recently, having posted three or more aces the last three times she's played.

Legacy Christian Academy's record is now 13-5. As for Alpaugh, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-12.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Legacy Christian Academy is set to challenge their familiar foe Wonderful College Prep Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Alpaugh will take on rival Laton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
