Softball Recap: Canute Find Success

The home team had won the previous seven meetings between Canute and Cheyenne/Reydon, and Canute kept the tradition alive. The Trojans came out on top against the Bears by a score of 8-3 on Thursday. That's more bragging rights for the Trojans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Canute's victory bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Cheyenne/Reydon, they moved to 19-11-1 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Canute didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 5-1 defeat against Shattuck on the 22nd. As for Cheyenne/Reydon, they have also already played their next match, a 7-0 loss against Merritt on the 22nd.
