Volleyball Recap: Monroe Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Monroe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 21st straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Mount Pleasant Tigers. If the Redhawks were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Tigers when the teams met back in October of 2016, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-12, 25-6.

Monroe's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Mount Pleasant, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-6.

Monroe wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against West Stanly on the 2nd. As for Mount Pleasant, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Forest Hills on the 2nd.
