Softball Recap: Susquehannock Has No Trouble Against York Suburban

Susquehannock got themselves on the board against York Suburban on Tuesday, but York Suburban never followed suit. They blew past the Trojans 12-0. The win continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won seven in a row.

Susquehannock let Sofia Deffendall and Michelle Morris run wild. Deffendall scored three runs while going 2-for-3, while Morris scored a run while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Morris also put up a double, which was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Macie Minton, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones working in the hit department: Susquehannock kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in six consecutive games.

Susquehannock now has a winning record of 4-3. As for York Suburban, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.
