Volleyball Recap: Hickory Takes a Loss

The Hickory Hawks came up short against the Deep Run Wildcats on Saturday, falling 3-0. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Caroline Carter paced Hickory's offense, picking up seven kills. Carter got some help from Kyla Goode and her ten assists.

Hickory now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Deep Run, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Looking ahead, Hickory will face off against Great Bridge at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Deep Run, they will be playing at home against Godwin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give the Wildcats their first taste of in-conference action this season.
