Soccer Recap: Mt. Shasta Takes a Loss

If Mt. Shasta was riding high fresh off their 6-0 takedown of Trinity on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bears fell 3-1 to the Fall River Bulldogs on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for Mt. Shasta in their meetings with Fall River: they've now lost eight in a row.

Mt. Shasta now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Fall River, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 11-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Mt. Shasta is set to take on their familiar foe Modoc at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Fall River will face off against rival Trinity at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
